Scouts Skills Challenge & Family Picnic

 The Waligazhu is an inter-patrol skills activity to promote learning, practicing, and demonstrating basic Scout skills, including Tripod Building (lashing), First Aid (knowledge and skill demonstration), Nature Identification, Map and Compass, Knot Tying, and Teamwork.

There will be 4 patrols from Troop 226 and 1 patrol from Troop 356 in the challenge!

Summer Camp - June 9-15

  • Dates: June 9-15, 2019 @ Camp Karankawa
  • Deposit to hold spot - $100 per scout
  • Registration fee must be paid in full by May 1 - $270
  • Need merit badge signup ASAP
  • Health forms parts A, B, & C required with physician's signature dated in the last year

Boy Scout Troop 226 is an extracurricular activity and ministry of Yorktown Christian Academy. It is a year-round program designed for boys in grades 6 through 12. Participation is open to the community. If you are interested in the Boy Scout program for your son, please contact the Scoutmaster. Weekly meetings are at 6:30 pm on Mondays.
